One Wales, Three Planets?

RSPB Cymru has welcomed publication of the Assembly Government's new sustainable development scheme consultation document One Wales: One Planet, which was launched today by the Minister for Environment, Sustainability and Housing. However, questions remain as to how the challenging targets will realistically be achieved.

Fudge Duck causes a flap

A scarce visitor to Wales is causing a stir amongst visitors to Cosmeston Lakes. A ferruginous duck, named after the male's deep chestnut, rust-like plumage and often shortened to 'fudge duck', has arrived at Cosmeston to the delight of staff and birdwatchers.
